Vice Minister Ma Xiuhong Addressing Welcoming Banquet in Shenzhen for Grand Tours of Brand Promotion

Good evening!
  
Motorcade of East China Tour of Brand Promotion passes by five provinces and one town during the 35 days’ journey and comes to Shenzhen, the international garden city. First of all, please allow me, on behalf of Ministry of Commerce and Minister Bo Xilai, extend sincere thanks to Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Shenzhen People’s Government and all personnel from various fields attending Brand Promotion in Shenzhen. Meanwhile I would like to extend cordial appreciation to the staff of East China Tour of Brand Promotion.
  
China’s economic output has ranked top place in the world by 27 years’ development since reform and opening-up. Entered WTO, China’s economy has already integrated into world economic system, but it should be noticed that our industry international competitiveness level is comparatively low and industry development still faces many pressures and challenges. We should pay hard effort to realizing transform from extensive economy to intensive economy of economic growth mode. Besides, we should take the way of building country and enterprises with strong brand, in order to promote product competitiveness and transfer growth mode of foreign trade and economy.

To strengthen brand construction is the demand of building innovative country; is the demand of transform from big trade country to strong trade country and is the demand of participating competitiveness of internationalization and market globalization. Brand construction is a long-termed arduous project that needs common effort from various fields of the society. Grand Tours of Brand Promotion of MOFCOM aims to aware brand consciousness of people, form favorable atmosphere of using brand and loving brand society wide and create macro environment in favor of brand construction.
  
I sincerely hope that through Grand Tours of Brand Promotion, Shenzhen could further increase independent innovation, make China’s brand bigger and stronger and obtain further progress in competitiveness of opening to the outside world.

In conclusion, please allow me again to extend sincere thanks to Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Shenzhen People’s Government and all fiends from various fields offering the support to Grand Tours of Brand Promotion.
